Learn How to Bake with The Burp Society at The Maya Kitchen
Have you ever wanted to learn how to bake your very own pies, cakes, cookies and breads?! Well, guess what! We have arranged for an EXCLUSIVE The Burp Society baking class with The Maya Kitchen Culinary Arts Center scheduled to happen on September 7th.
You’re probably familiar with Maya, a brand that has been around for decades, making baking at home easy with their various mixes like pancakes, brownies, and more.
The Maya Kitchen has been around since the 1960s, and they want to bring more people into the kitchen through various culinary and entrepreneurial courses they offer. You can visit their website – http://www.themayakitchen.com – for more information.
They have graciously agreed to accommodate us for a special baking class where we will learn how to bake pies, cakes, cookies and breads at a special The Burp Society fee! Exciting, isn’t it? 🙂
To join the baking class, please see details below:
Price per person: Php 1,000 – includes the toque and apron, and they’ll make available ingredients and tools we’ll need for the class. Please note that this should be paid in advance, either through Paypal or bank deposit (BPI or Unionbank) since we need to pay them ahead of time.
Attendees: We need a minimum of 10 people for this to push through. As of this writing, there are 16 people who RSVPd to come and join the baking class.
You can invite your friends to join us, of course. 🙂
Location: The Maya Kitchen in Legazpi Village, Makati City
Date: September 7, 2013, Saturday
Time: 2pm til 5pm
As per our discussion, they’ll teach us how to make the following: Apple Pie, Moist Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Cream Puff / Eclairs. ^_^
We hope you could join us! It’ll be a fun event, for sure. Most of us are first time bakers. Only Ken has experience with baking, and he’ll be there to help us out just in case. 😉
